Daily Planning completes Pointserve’s bi-directional optimization by intelligently assigning resources and optimizing routes to fulfill the customer time commitments scheduled through Pointserve’s Appointment Scheduling module or third party CRM systems. Daily Planning assigns resources through the Resource Scheduling engine, which considers a broad range of inputs including your economic goals, success factors, route efficiency, technician skill sets, parts availability, service level agreements, shift rotations, break schedules, and customer preferences. Customer attributes are considered to ensure that high-value customers get premium service levels, maximizing total long-term value to the enterprise. Using street level routing, the application considers the entire road network, including understanding road restrictions based on vehicle classes.
