G. Edward Powell, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Powell founded Pointserve in 1996 with the vision of applying economic optimization technology to service supply chain management. For eight years prior to founding Pointserve, Dr. Powell was a Member of the Technical Staff at the MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory, where he developed advanced forecasting, modeling, and simulation algorithms for autonomous satellite navigation, now the core of the Company’s economic optimization technology. Dr. Powell received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University. Dr. Powell is currently a member of the President’s Information Technology Advisory Committee.
G. Connor Gray, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Gray leads Pointserve’s operations, product development, delivery and customer support functions. Prior to joining Pointserve, Mr. Gray served for six years as corporate vice president for product strategy at Ventyx, formerly Indus International, where he was responsible for creating the vision and definition of products, technologies, and solutions to meet the dynamic needs of the service delivery market. Prior to Indus, Gray was vice president and manager of the EnerLink division at SAIC. Earlier in his career he served as the financial officer for growth companies in the private sector, and provided strategic guidance to clients ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Gray has published numerous articles on the application of technology tools and business optimization strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from San Diego State University, with additional graduate course work and advanced certificates from San Diego State and Stanford University.
Greg Logwinuk, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Logwinuk has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at two publicly traded companies and served as divisional CFO for a third. He has over 10 years experience in the role of CFO. He has also been a management consultant for the energy and environmental services industries and an audit manager for a major accounting firm. Prior to joining the Pointserve board, Mr. Logwinuk was CFO and corporate secretary for DTM Corporation (majority owned by Goodrich). Mr. Logwinuk is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a MBA from Texas A&M University.
Mark T. Lane, Chief Scientist
Dr. Lane has been with the Company since shortly after its founding, designing algorithms that represent the state-of-the-art in forecasting and real-time optimization. He has over 15 years of experience in numerical and data analysis, optimization and combinatorial techniques, and genetic and evolutionary computations. Prior to joining Pointserve, Dr. Lane spent 10 years as a member of the Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He was the Co-Principal Investigator for the Midcourse Space Experiment, the largest SDIO-funded satellite mission. Dr. Lane is the author or co-author of more than 20 refereed journal articles and more than 30 other published papers. He holds a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.
Greg Gray, Vice President of Sales
Mr. Gray leads Pointserve’s sales organization, directing strategies to bring Pointserve products successfully to market. Prior to joining Pointserve, Mr. Gray was a co-founder and Managing Director at Mobyz, a wireless applications company and key strategic partner of Nokia. Prior to Mobyz, Mr. Gray was a Managing Director for SE-Technologies, Inc, where he directed US sales efforts. Mr. Gray also ran sales for the OEM division of Digital Computer Integration and has served as Vice President of Marketing for Global Computing Consultants.
Mary McDaniel, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Ms. McDaniel is responsible for Pointserve’s marketing and business development activities. Ms. McDaniel comes to Pointserve after 22 years at Ventyx, formerly Indus International, MDSI and SCT Utility Systems, where she was responsible for marketing strategy and market development. In addition, she also led public relations, client relations and merger/acquisition activities. McDaniel has published numerous articles and whitepapers on business strategy and process optimization. Prior to her career at Ventyx, McDaniel provided selection and acquisition services to governmental entities on enterprise applications. She has also held key roles in state government agencies, with responsibility for training elected officials on government office operations, financial audits and legal/regulatory compliance. McDaniel holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Mississippi College, and a MBA from Mississippi State University.
Cary Peele, Vice President of Product Delivery
Prior to joining Pointserve, Mr. Peele held executive level positions in converging business processes and technology. Mr. Peele developed large-scale enterprise-class software applications across several industry sectors. He was the chief architect and project manager of the team that developed General Electric’s remote wide area wireless field service technician routing, invoicing, point of sale, and inventory system. At S1, he led multiple development teams to create J2EE, web-based, n-tier, enterprise-class, on-line, real-time banking software products for the financial services industry. Most recently Mr. Peele was Chief Information Technology Officer for an insurance company in Houston. Mr. Peele holds a bachelors degree, with High Honors, in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin.
